I setup my project in english (en) instead of (en_US)?

As we all know, the official language of WordPress in en-US, so that’s why we setup all our projects using it also as source language.

Now when you created your project you used english (en) instead and you want to join our community! It’s impossible for now. It’s a limitation of Transifex, that should be fixed soon, until then projects MUST have the same source language to share an organization.

What can you do then? Easy.

  • Your project is brand new so just erase it and create a new one with the good settings.
  • Your project is already packed with lots of translations. Use the tx client, pull all your translations. Create a new one with the right settings and push the translations back in.

So for now: Be careful when you setup your project*

If you’re are interest in helping with those files there is only one place:  Translate WordPress.
